As you can see, I’ve also added a dollop of peanut butter to each cookie and mixed in cranberries with some others. My mother usually bakes them with pecans. You can be imaginative and add in your own nuts/dried fruits such as pecans, walnuts, raisins etc. (whatever you can think of).
