frances I would like to share with you how I store my baked goods so that they remain soft and delicious. I have no doubt there are many ways to go about storing cookies and my method is just one of the many out there.
How to Keep Cookies Moist in Storage
You’ll need:
- paper towel
- plastic wrap
- air tight container
Prior to packaging, let the cookies cool for 15 minutes. Dampen a piece of paper towel with water and place it on the bottom of the container. If you are storing the cookies in layers, place a piece of damp paper towel in between every two layers. Cover the opening fully with plastic wrap and finally, the cover. Dampen the paper towel again each day to maintain the moistness and that should keep the cookies nice and moist.
